I have absolutely no experience sewing or stitching, and as far as I am concerned it is magic. I was nervous to do this as it was a rather expensive bag, but this made easy work out of a tricky sewing job! I have redone the webbing on these chairs three times and the easy stitcher has made it so much easier.

I love the fact that this tool has been around for centuries and yet by its very nature it is the precursor of the sewing machine. Received this through the post yesterday. Was pretty easy to sew.

It works great and take it with me camping too. I ended up buying high strength nylon thread to do this as the thread that came with this awl was not the colour I was after, but it was nice that it came with thread and was ready to use straight out of the box! Watched a video on u tube on how to use. Just make sure to change direction of thread on bobbin every few feet to keep from coiling too much.

Re upholstered 3 cushions and made a bimini top all with this little gadget. I found the speedy stitcher to be simple, and the thread they supply is extremely durable and waxed. Slow but sturdy results on canvas.

It worked! I have started playing around with leather this year as a hobby making sheaths for my knife collection.

My first repair was on a pair of leather house shoes that were coming undone and loose. Anyone? I watched a YouTube video on how to use it, and then I was off. Even with my lack of patience, I was able to produce some secure repairs that I think will last a while.

Brand new to sewing and I'm sure there's faster methods available, but not for $24 CAN. Sometimes stitching breaks and needs repair, this is a great tool for those who like to repair their own gear. Sewed up 2 corners of my kids bouncy castle and seems to be holding up pretty good. But I needed something to make the stitching easier and after watching some you tube clips I decided to get this one.
