I was able to find the secret storage area and the message. I purchased it replace my RAYOVAC Flashlight at work (which is useless) that the company issues to every shift worker. As for the flashlight itself, it works well, very bright and works without any problem, however the problem is mostly aesthetic since the flashlight that came to me lacks the Morse code and the legend of the laboratory acronyms

The flashlight itself is great and works well. I checked to see if it would even close, which it did, however I discovered a large spot on the front where something had been stuck, then torn off. Nothing was wrapped or anything so the batteries and flashlight were pretty scratched/beat up by eachother.

My son didn't care or notice any scratches because he's young. The packaging, however, was a disappointment. It's made from metal and is water-resistant.

No Batteries were included, though ad says they are. He's a big fan of Stanger Things and it was awesome to get his own flashlight so he'll leave mine alone!

This is a pretty good quality flashlight I love the Retro look of it it's got a pretty good weight to it that's pretty cool that it's some stranger things it's pretty bright bright enough to light up a room in the dark I took it camping with me if I would rate this I would have to give it a 10 out of 10 would buy again Also, the box looked great in detail page photos but the lid has a huge hideous headline plastered on it. Good detailing. Same size as flashlights when I was a boy.
Trip
Cons: The detail photos make the morse code look like the dots and dashes are laser etched through the metal. It also has a built-in ring hanger. The flashlight works really well! False advertising.

The package wasn't even closed when I removed it from the shipping box. But it's actually white ink printed on the metal. It was on sale too so for the price I paid I didn't mind either.
