With this mouse, I can't feel the difference between when it's plugged in and when it's not, and inputs feel just as smooth as my Deathadder. On the previous Mamba only the scroll wheel lit up and it looked quite dull.

I've purchased two previous Mambas over the past 10 years and I keep buying them because I love the Mamba shape. They just fit my hand perfectly, so when it came time to buy a third I naturally looked at the Mamba range again and found that they have segmented the range into different features and price points. My only gripes about it are that it is too small, and that the DPS settings that come preinstalled on it don't have an option for normal mouse sensitivity, but I believe you can change this later from the Razer app. And to be honest I'm fine with that because it has the same great Mamba shape with a lower cost.

The Wireless performance is great. You see, The Mamba *looks* very similar to the Deathadder series, although the feel isn't quite the same. Bigger and heavier then the Logitech G Pro Wireless so decision to buy depends on whether you want an ergonomic shape and slightly heavier mouse than the G Pro Wireless which is about 80g (the Razer is still light very at 106g though). So far this mouse is really good.

THE WIRELESS PERFORMANCEThis is a good time to mention latency and the wireless performance in general. You lose the docking station/stand and in its place you get a basic USB cable to charge the mouse with. It comes with an extension cable which can be used for charging the mouse or leaving it connected to use it wired .

This charges quickly and lasts as long as they say it does , very good battery life . It's definitely under an hour - As I said, this is just from feel.

If you know it'll fit their hand well (and they really want something Wireless), they'll like this mouse. I would not hesitate to recommend this to someone who likes the Mamba shape as much as I do.
