Quiche

This makes a ‘butter’ slime which is more aerated and less sticky to handle. This is a really good starter set. The only issues I had were the star container was cracked on arrival, and the set didn’t contain any of the glow in the dark powder that is mentioned in the guide book, so I can’t make glow in the dark slime.

We recommend using shaving cream/foam since it makes the texture more like slime and makes it more soft, (it isnt that stretchy tho) the glow in the dark powder also didnt come, but my daughter didn’t mind. This is the same with any slime recipe. I was a bit worried at first as the slime is very sticky if you follow the recipe in the instructions, but the tips and tricks page is useful and advises to add more activator, it says add few more drops, but I found that it needed significantly more than that, added bit by bit in between kneading and stretching. Washable PVA glue is also good for replacing the glue in the kit, the glue that came in the kit is fine, but it takes a little more time to make the slime Overall, i think it is great, only with additional items.

After a bit of trial & error and perseverance I managed to make very good slime, the glitter and sprinkles really add to it. Bought as a present, for my goddaughter who had fun but would have had more fun if all the items were in the box …. It’s really important to stretch the slime out and add the activator sparingly, a drop at a time, or it will mess up. I made the galaxy one (pictured) which went a lovely mauve colour after fully mixing.
