8 on a bright day and quite a fast exposure. . It has the best colour rendition of anything I've used.

I shoot some film becuase i love it so much,, This film is nice,, very fine and colour is good,, hard to explain as it is subjective but i like the hues it produces. Bought this film at a great price back in December when I was about to buy my go to film, Gold. Apparently this is common with Ektar as it is very colourful; personally I prefer Portra for its realistic reproduction, but the blueness of this works for street photography and other applications that could harness it. It's best for nature/landscape photography as it favors the red end of the spectrurm a bit, and so people appear to have unnaturally reddish skin tones.

Worth it - 6MP scans are sufficient to shown this films potential. I knew very little about ektar at the time but after reading the reviews that praised the warm tones and find grain I was completely sold. Blown out colours are a feature, if you have someone with blue eyes it's wonderful. used with Nikon f100 and 50mm f1.
