I used to use Wahl detangling spray as used and recommended by my groomer, but his fur still got really matted. I put a small amount and rubbed it into the mat. I used this in my Sheepadoodle and was able to remove heavy matting from behind her ears. Its great stuff.

We have a HAIRY leonberger and his pants are usually a nightmare to comb through. He is very happy and so am I on how well this works! His fur is really thick and long, and gets matted very quickly.

the only con is what others have said there's only half in the tube . This stuff is literally magic and helps detangle the toughest of tangles. One happy owner and one much better groomed dog.

I just wish it wasn’t so expensive, as I go through a tube every 5/6 weeks. I don't normally write reviews but had to on this one . I enjoy the smell too!
