With coke it almost provide a vanilla coke flavour, and it gets better with larger measures and the more you drink. This rum is sweet, yet not sickly like a red leg/Morgans, has a nice vanilla clove finish. I wouldnt bother with it if you like Spice rum as it has an artificial lime flavour with it, this rum beats it hands down. Took a punt on this after reading various reviews and very glad I did.

. A great spiced rum, not overly sweet and sugary unlike some of the market leader brands, quite a cakey finish, goes well with coke, worth paying a bit more for quality. Looove this rum it's not so strong and has such a nice and not so over powering sweet taste to it.

I agree with some of the reviews, even those critical towards the sweetness of this rum. *Picture unloaded is what i used for a rum cake I made mixed with Lambs Navy rum😋😋😁😁👌🏾 I must admit, this is a very nice sipping rum with ice, and I would go as far as saying better alone than with coke. I dont often drink rum on its own, but being a whisky drinker I always try to see what the complexity of the alchohol is alone.

Enjoying it with ice or with a small amount of cola. Will buy again. I have had a lot of rums, and spiced rums, and for me, Chairman's Reserve is up there as one of the best.
All in all, would I drink it again, yes - but would I rush out to buy it again, not so sure. That being said, this rum tastes better than Chairmans on its own with ice.
being someone who mixes with coke my next bottle will be Chairman's. Best Spiced Rums:1) Chairmans2) Dead Mans Finger3) Old J I was a little dissapointed with the rum at first and was say it is very similar to Dead Man's Finger spiced rum, maybe a little sweeter.
I for one have found some of these amazon reviews very useful so I have edited my revoew to make reference to Old J's spiced rum. However, its each to their own, and does, a lot, come down to individual preference. As a Havana, Kraken drinker I enjoy a spiced and/or dark rum.
