Its important. I only kept this product on my hair for 20 minutes- 1 st time , because I didn’t bleach my hair before i didn’t want to destroy them. My hair is half way down my back & thick, so I used two boxes, which was perfect. This is very strong stuff so please be aware of that if you have any prior damage or dryness to your hair.

My hair was the same colour as the mid brown on the box before. I was so worried this would go wrong but, it didn't! I applied it to my hair and immediately washed it off, didn’t wait any time at all after fully covering my hair because I didn’t really want much lift, just the purple removed.

The kit in the box was pretty good value. Before using the cap, I went over it and pierced the holes first so it would be easier to pull the hair through.
