No, they're not for the professional birdwatcher, but for ease of always having a pair handy & the pricing, you cannot go wrong. If these have night vision, it's not anything like what I thought it would be. The magnifications is perfect, its x8 so it seems to be a sweet spot for me, also the size and the way it folds is just awesome as you can easily put it in your pocket in its cute little bag and forget about it.

The included lightweight case doesn't add much bulk. I think they are referring to these binoculars having night vision because they have "BaK4 prisms".

I was amazed at the clarity and how well these things worked. All those fears were cast aside when the Poldr 8 X 21's came in the mail. Great product exactly what I needed. The resolution is crisp & clear, while the color clarity is great.

it has a focusing dial to make the image clearer according to viewing distance. I purchased to take with me on the Camino de Santiago in one week. It is used for prisms in most (but not all! No odd tints or casts.

This purchase really made my day, i didn’t expect it to be this compact and well made for such a low price, i just had a suggestion once about binoculars and remembered that i was really fascinated about these things when i was a child and decided to buy one. I got the 8x21s. My mailbox is about 50 yards from my front door.
