Comfort: Yes, just yes. The result is a very natural sound with oodles of everything and no bags of one thing! So fairly varied.

Sure it's mainly plastic but that makes it light, really light. Previously had pair of kef m400 headphones they were lacking in bass and detail then came across sony MDR 1A headphones WOW sound was very good well worth the money. They can get your ears hot after extended use, but no more so than any other over the ear enclosed headphones.
