I did a smaller tree yesterday and it clears rhododendron and stuff easily. This saw made light work of the job. I am delighted with this product.

I thought it might be a little bulky, but (although a fraction heavier) it’s the same size as my 4Ah batteries. This 5Ah battery was on promotion at around the same price as the 2. It went with ease through 8 inch trunks albeit slowly. I found the tool light and comfortable in use and it went through the logs with ease.

The build quality is typical of the brand and faultless. I bought this to clear the end of our garden that's very overgrown. I would say I could have cut that tree up several times on that one charge.
