About this deal
Made with freshly peeled lemons, dried lemon peels and lemon verbena, not to mention other botanicals such as juniper, vanilla pods and ground almond, this is a zingy gin with unmistakable notes of lemon drizzle cake. We've taken our classic London Dry Gin and layered on sweet, sundried lemon peel, lemon verbena and vapour-infused fresh lemons, for a sensationally sippable lemon gin. This light gin packs a real zesty kick, accompanied with sweet back notes. The two-ingredient cocktail requires your undivided attention. But also, not exactly. For more information go to www. Each bottle possesses a distinguished aesthetic and takes effort to note the provenance and variety of the wheat used.

Firstly, the bottle and label look good and premium, so points for that straight away. My son then tried the gin on its own and said it was too intense to drink neat, but all agreed that we must try to explore and experience some further mashups soon.

I have done a few gin tasting experiences and had the odd of glass of standard London Dry or Tom Cat gin but I am by no means a connoisseur. There's nothing harsh about this fragrant and fruity gin - I was unsure what best to pair it with so that none of the flavours were lost.

I think this would be very well received as a gift, especially around autumn and Christmas when a little fire in the throat and belly is welcomed. The media could not be loaded. She’s tried several cocktail recipes with it and highly recommends the Sispresso martini one with Kahlua.

Overall, I think we agree that this can depends on what you mix with it – cocktails went down better than straight mixes as it can be a little heavy without anything to temper it, in some cases it was described as sophisticated and in others a little overpowering – but every palate tends to have its own preferences hence trying with different blends and flavour mixers. I wasn't expecting it to be so nice. .

Get it whilst you can ! As gin goes, we are a fairly mixed bag in this household, I have a preference for fruity gins, my wife prefers the more exotic tastes and our son likes a something a little spicy.

Very nice to drink and will certainly look to try a few other products by Sipsmith. There's plenty of fruity flavours and it's really refreshing.

It would be perfect for a summer's day. I mixed it with Lemonade which is my normal mixer of choice. It stands at 40% volume and reviewed at £25.
