My youngest loves superheroes and especially Batman, so this is perfect. This is the Fisher-Price Imaginext DC Super Friends Bat-Tech Batcave, with lights and sounds (total 8 pieces) for ages 3 to 8yrs. Firstly it has two red spinning discs, the first is at the top of the middle lift part and makes either side go up or down, almost like a pair of scales. Brilliant.

There’s also a trap door which can make a “baddy” fall into the jail below - I say “baddy” as the joker isn’t included so we use figures from other play sets but you can buy the joker separately if you want to. Measures 38 x 40 x 12cm, requires 3 x AA batteries included.

The Sheep Queen

In addition to the Bat Cave, we can find a Batman character about 7 cm tall with a fabric cape and various accessories. At the bottom left, on the other hand, we find a trap door that makes the enemies captured fall into the cell below.

When their friends come over this is their go-to toy now, and their imaginations go wild! I got this for my boys and it is a huge hit and a must have addition to their other imaginext batman toys. If there had also been one of the 'bad' characters it would certainly have been more complete.

Overall this playset is a well made and very interactive toy that my sons and their friends recommend without a doubt. The removable shooter chair that comes with the red launchers are a particular favourite as they can be moved around and defend the bat cave from enemies.
