Apparently the plastic is made by the same company that makes Grivory plastics, which is common among knife manufacturers, especially Ka-Bar. It seems that everyone makes a spork nowadays.

Sporks have been around since the late 19th century. Started with one, would always forget it in the dish Drainer, so I bought two more Now I always have at least one with me to use. Removing the knife was easy provided you grab the spork towards both ends and not the middle. Been using it for almost 2 months.

So tonight I put it to the test. I pretended to eat the baked potato as if it was ice cream and the shape of the spoon is an odd feeling in your mouth.

I use it almost daily. The price isn't bad at all and it will come in handy at camp. The spork, itself, works adequately enough.

I detected no burrs or excessive mold marks. Overall I'm glad I bought it. There was no wobble or excessive movement when the spork was in it's closed position. All-in-all, this is a decent spork.
