The autofocus system has been reworked with an STM motor that acquires subjects quickly and quietly and can be controlled in a number of ways thanks to its customizable AF Lock button and focus ring. This feature provides an additional layer of protection when shooting outdoors under adverse weather conditions. In its second generation it manages to reduce both size and weight while improving optical and autofocus performance. • Protection without the added weight For this same purpose, the lens is equipped with a nine-bladed aperture diaphragm. In my opinion, this is not a perfect lens but you've really got to weigh why you need it. There is slight vignetting on the corners and this was something I was aware of even before I purchased the lens, but to be honest it doesn't bother me at all as it's easy to correct in post.

This is something you wouldn't really notice until you zoom in on the pic in my opinion. One thing to be aware of is the the lens was supplied at version 02, the current firmware version is 04, and you require a Samyang Dock to update the firmware, currently priced at £49. The price point of the Samyang 85mm 1. It could very well work in the newer models.
Antz got earache
In the picture of the stones, the autofocus struggled to focus the stones in front and when I thought it did focus not sure when it changed it to the stones down on the left. It's a great photography lens, but I can't recommend it for video because of my own experience which is a shame because it shows real potential. well worth the money. I've just received the lens today, and it focuses well even in poor light.
