The mirror is a decent size, little bit on the big side but not too big. I don’t reapply until the card indicates I’m under 30 spf. As well as checking initial application, this is ideal for checking if your SPF has worn off during the day and needs topping up. This mirror is compact at 97x8mm and very easy to carry.

Mine arrived with some charge already on it, but it’s very easy to charge up using the USB cable. 00 – I really think it’s a fantastic thing to have in the home. I love this this. It works well, shows clearly where sun protection of SPF15 or higher is missing and encourages improves techniques for applying sunscreen.

When you open it up, there is a standard mirror on the inside of the lid, and the camera mirror screen on the lower part. But since it has to be, yes, I too cream myself and cream up again after a while. The other use of this camera (not such an important one to me) is that it will detect if you have removed your makeup thoroughly while cleansing – makeup provides a degree of physical block to UV light.

Even if you're perfect, and nothing happens to your face, you'll start to see the protection fade (I always see the sun spots on my nose first, which makes sense). Of course, the mirror can do something, but thanks to Corona I haven't been on vacation for 4 years now, so such a mirror would not pay off financially for me at all.

Another thing is that the camera works much better with chemical sunscreen than physical/mineral sunscreen. It clearly shows the flaws in your sunscreen application, which is nice, but that's not the biggest benefit. 5cm across so bigger than an ordinary mirror but still compact.

This isn't a real problem, since I'm not a skinfluencer. Even though this UV mirror is quite pricey - currently £99. It comes with a UV card that tells you how the sunscreen is holding up.
