:) super excited to read this! Once you start reading, you’re firmly grounded in a sense of place, being able to smell, touch, and taste all of her nasty, gooey tableaus. This was a great read. Very disturbing story that kept me on the edge of my seat.

Definitely recommend this one. Brilliantly written but truly heartbreaking story. I admire Ahlborn’s writing skills more than her ability to sustain a well-paced narrative.

The third act of the story is a tightrope of tension that leads to a redneck Shakespearean tragedy. He doesn’t enjoy the screams of fear and pain from the girls they bring home.

This was my first horror book I’ve read in a long time, and just wow. But let me just reiterate, it IS quite disturbing so be cautious of that before reading lol.

Highly recommend When he meets a girl, Alice, at a record shop, he’s instantly smitten. Brother by Anna Ahiborn was just the kind of creepy thriller/horror book to get you in spooky mood.
