This set did come with beads and a little organizing tray, but if you open all the colored beads, some will have to be intermixed to fit (Not pictured on box). This is a cool toy! The toll that comes with it doesn’t work very well for transferring the beads.

You can use it without app too. I would also recommend using batteries vs.

We have not used the app yet to put our own pictures on as I do not think it comes with enough beads to complete anything to big or complicated and as a 5 year old was the one doing it we stuck to some of the basic designs. My kids found it easier to use their fingers. It does not come with very many bead things for too many designs. Great product for those curious and artsy kids!

Still, it is fun and creative and a neat little activity. My 7 year old loved it. When using the app, you can enable camera access as well and take pictures which can be converted into projects.

It is probably just a little bit too complicated for her by herself but with a little bit of help from a grown up she has loved it. She quickly got an image of an octopus on the screen and started placing beads on it. Right out of the box we spent hours working on little projects.

Ease of Use - The instructions that came with it were quite easy to follow and it is easy to set it up and get using. There are so many pictures to choose from as well.

But the final product came out looking pretty good (attached). My oldest daughter (15) was designated as the one to set it up and try it out the first time and then she could explain it to the younger kids.
