These need assembling and lots of stickers to go on the face plates but my son actually enjoyed that part of it too! Kids love it You also get the alternative shapes for 4, 5 and 6 (7-10 you only get blocks for the one shape, but faceplates to change them and make the others) with lots of activity flashcards from the series. My 4 year old has been totally engrossed with this since he opened it on Christmas morning.

It's easy to make the Numberblocks 0-10. very good . I have to say that the stickers are truly terrible, even after careful application these were peeling off within the first hour of play and that is why I've only given 4 stars, however with a bit of research I found a work around and coated all of the face plates with decopage glue which solved the problem perfectly! I have kept all the extra cards, and blocks for when she’s a bit older.

This product does require some knowledge of the programme/songs and without this you loose much of the appeal as a learning resource in their own right, but the programme is easily available on BBC iPlayer and watching my son act out bits from the programme and consolidating his number knowledge has been brilliant- he hasn't even realised he is learning and his number knowledge is fantastic! good help for children at the beginning of learning These have been a huge hit with my 3 and 5 year old kids. We've only had them less than a week and majority of them have been destroyed already because the kids don't understand if they take them off they won't go back on.

It's easy to remove the face plates, clear numbers and stickers if you want. The stickers might not last over time but for now they are good. Would have been better if the set went to 20.

It also comes with an information booklet that refers to Numberblocks episodes and characters. It helps give him some guidance but there lots of flexibility for creative play. And you can't buy replacements from what I can tell, so once they're ruined they aren't really "numberblocks" anymore, just standard cubes! It's not the cheapest set but it's incredibly well done and a must for any future mathematician!
