This means that you don't get drips before plunging like you would with paper filters. Bottom Line: As long as you don't mind it looking a little scuffed up, sanding the underside of those 4 tabs should do the trick.

As I understand it, the “foam” is produced by metal. And gives a really clean cup. Otherwise, the “foam” it generates doesn't last more than a few seconds, and without being a coffee expert, I would say that coffee has the same flavor as the one made normally. no more 'heart in mouth' moments while flipping an AeroPress full of hot coffee the right way up.

If you want some "espresso like coffee" than this is a good addition to your arsenal with your aeropress. All I used was a regular old emery board that had the grain of a finer sandpaper. As other reviews have stated, cleaning the Prismo is slightly more involved than cleaning the standard AeroPress filter cap as you have to rinse the metal filter, this isn't a deal breaker though as it only takes a 30 seconds or so to rinse it under the tap. I think aeropress should partner with this brand and offer this as an add on with the aeropress.

Quality product that provides a little improvement in coffee taste, but for me really solid benefits in usability. ? One of my roommates bought one of the prismo attachments at our old house and I used it for a year. Also in my images, you'll see that even with the additional height of the Prismo in comparison to the original paper filter attachment that came with the AeroPress Go, the red cap still fits over the cup with everything neatly packed inside.
