-It does smell quite strongly, like marker pens, for quite a long time after opening. I followed the instructions and left it open for 24 hours before using itHaving read several favourable reports on this particular mattress, I thought it would be worth a try. Other photos perhaps are only an hour after opening when it is indeed still about 16cm. Overall, for the price, I think it is decent value.

Nice and consistent across the mattress, no springs or metal frames or deviations. Still, first night on it and my daughter says it's really comfy, and I think so for me too. Smells fresh and clean.

Problem now seen this week changing bottom sheet. After 25 yrs of sleeping on an expensive spring mattress with yrs left in it, my back was in severe pain. The price was also very good.

I found this happened multiple nights until my partner stayed at the weekend. Matress instructions read, and re-read, opened package and unfolded/ unrolled left for 48 hours rather than just 24. I guess this should be balanced against how easy it is to transport / deliver / take upstairs in its rolled up state.

Which helps the painful spots. To my horror the first night I slept in the bed I felt the foam moulding around my body and me sinking in. On plus side, there is NOT the slightest hint of chemical odour, given it is foam. The foam supports all over the spinal cord and you sink into the total foamy support structure.

For my 6 year old daughter's new high sleeper cabin bed, it is ideal for ceiling clearance and her small body and weight, but not sure how an adult's weight would affect its long term firmness. 8cm after leaving to 'rise' for 48 hours in a warm room. -Comfort wise, it is a medium firmness and nice and supportive for the larger framed individual. Don't waste your time and money on those items claiming to be mattress toppers if your current mattress is a bit past it we put this on top of our old one and it's amazing.

Unparralled speed of recovery which continues all day. The benefits are obvious but the motivation of the energy and freedom from worry. I was hesitant in purchasing a memory foam mattress as I do like a firm mattress andI eventually went for the Silentnight 7 zone mattress because it was 20cm depth. After it has been left flat for 24 hours, it is then ready to use.
