I absolutely loved this book, the characters are wonderful and the story had be laughing and crying. I just felt so much as I rolled with the lives of these two, I felt their frustrations, their amusement, their affection, love and deep sadness. This book swept me off my feet and I hope Megan Bannen has something of a similar ilk in store for us in the future. Double yes. The barbs these two threw at one another were like acid burns but how they came to be friends through letters was everything.

Two people hate each other and 1) find each other immediately attractive and it’s annoying to them or 2) don’t realize how attractive they are until *insert life altering moment here*Do I love it? Having said that it isn’t like any fantasy romance I’ve read before, no quests, fae or lost royalty.

I had high hopes when I saw the cover & even higher after reading the synopsis. It wasn’t enough to detract from the story though, and didn’t even hinder me enough to lose that five star magic this book definitely had.

This is the only point that I felt needed something, a map or a glossary at the beginning would have really helped me visualise everything my brain sometimes tripped over. A definite five stars from me, and I can’t wait to read it again! The two characters start off loathing each other, and the bickering between them is fantastic.
