On the slightly negative side, some span two pages, which make it a bit tricky to get to the spine edge, depending on where you are in the book, but it can usually be persuaded to lie flat enough without damaging the binding. ’That description was enough for me. Like “Magical Journey” in pictures, this book also takes us around the world.

into the basket. Love it! Each page or spread has a ‘name’, the subject behind the inspiration for the illustration, e. a quirky, swirling world, just as described, with opportunities to do a little or a lot as the mood, and time, dictates!

The thick card cover is pretty; part-coloured in pastels & enhanced by silver-coloured embellishment with the titling in silver & black, following through to the spine. and now it is in hand, I am seriously in another world. This one delivers much more than that. Have bought others in the past but this is by far the one I tend to reach out for the most.

follow cobbled pavements through winding streets, look up at skyscrapers soaring to the skies, and gaze over rooftops and dreaming spires. I'd have paid more for this. The pages are relatively thick and the illustrations are outlined in black, with the odd area blacked out, but this is minimal and adds to the book rather than detracts from it, IMO. Absolutely amazing, bigger then expected.

From the silky feeling, striking embossed front cover, to page after page of almost psychedelic fun and very magical artwork. This has left a print on the picture behind it so I would advise to put a piece of paper in between. I've had flowers and leaves and the like up to my eyeballs, this is such a nice change!
