In other reviews, there was talk of sharp edges or metal chips that fell out when screwing. In my case (photos of the assembly in test), it was adapted to operate a Radxa Rock 5B SBC with a 15W TDP and 4 disks (less than 100W at full load). 5” HDDs and remains reasonable in terms of price. 0 connections and 1 x 3.

- When writing sequentially on all 5 disks, you can hear the sound of the disks running, but it can no longer be heard at a distance of 1m - great decoupling! Ah if one thing to fault, whoever assembled this case tightened the screws much too hard, or maybe it was a machine. The USB slots deliver the full range of the USB3. The solution is clear: set up our own NAS.

Unfortunately, the case was somewhat bent at the back and I almost did not bring the I/O shield in, but after I pushed around a bit, everything fits. 0 and Gigabit Ethernet we move in a range of 400€-750€ without including the cost of the disks.

It has two openings for PCI expansion bays (the DTX standard, fully compatible with mini ITX) and a speed regulator for up to three fans with a three-pin plug. Two 80mm fans in the front and a 140mm fan on the back are pre-assembled in the case.
