The tube is very small so don't be surprised but I have used next to no paste for this project. I make curiosity boxes based on Victorian items.

I have included before and after photo's. With the previously white and rusted lights I had to sand with a fine grit paper first.

Glad I read the previous reviews, a little really does go a long way. People who reviewed this product as 'not antique gold' or 'more green' are not being fair. Having finished half the clock, there is still only the tiniest dent in the tube barely showing it has been used at all. Now looking for more things to gild!

It's coping well with the wet and cold weather, but may not so much if we have another hot summer. However a little of this on my finger and a light rub gave it that finishing touch. I searched Amazon for cabinet handles but liked my old pewter ones. Super easy to use.

I put it on a lighter wood as on the frame and it looks exactly the same as the elephants. I am extremely happy with my purchase.

While browsing through spray paint I came across this little marvel. Will definitely buy again but I think it won’t be for a while as you only need a very very small amount. Seems like it won’t rub off, and only had to use a tiny bit of the tube for 2 lamps Also if you make a mistake, you can use a damp rag to wipe away the offending smear and it comes off.
