I'm very fed up this simple complaint has taken hours & my gardening has been delayed. I first used this compact potting soil & it worked perfectly however it was insufficient to fill my window box so I ordered a second pack. On the positive side - the product is light and easily delivered by Amazon as normal. In this way it will expand to its full volume.

This made a good amount to be mixed with perlite and bark for repotting. Plants seem to use this compost quite quickly so for my collection I've constantly got a pack in stock, changing small plants' pots after 3 months, full specimens every 6 months to one year. It worked really well! I sterilise the home produced compost via 4 hours in my slow cooker and then mix with the coconut coir.

It was easy to use and tidy, unlike bags of soil. Let the compost cool and for me, it's then ideal for houseplants - in many cases I add grit, stones or bark depending upon the species.

I ordered this block of compost after several disasters during lockdown - bags of stuff full of pests or not delivered to my home by non-Amazon couriers etc. I did run out and need to buy some more No place to explain but here.
