A very funny and original story, perfect for your young reader. Really cleverly written, a rollicking adventure, wonderful characters and beautiful illustrations. Our child is currently reading this again so I got no chance to read it.

cannot recommend this book higher. Leonora has always wanted to go and explore that main land and see what’s out there. A joy to read. A lovely fantasy story with twists and great characters.

Such a great story with a strong female lead. The illustrations are good. This book is an easy read and great for a child who is still daunted by pages full of text as there are illustrations dotted throughout.

And I could hear her cackling with laughter while she read it. She has a pet sea otter called twitchy too. Both kids now want a pet otter. Can't wait for the next book, my two are pestering me already!
