There are 2 levels of suction, both are quite mild and struggle to remove congestion. Reading the reviews I had doubts whether to buy it or not.

It’s light and easy to hold, also very quiet so doesn’t scare baby. I had a look at the instructions and it’s fairly easy to use.

I did try using the Aspirator back then and thought it was rubbish. The nasal aspirator comes with a few blue spongey filters and 2 nose tip sizes for a comfortable and effective fit. I got it for my 3-month-old baby when she suddenly became unwell. I found it does work when you have runny nose but not so much for taking out bogies.

I tried it immediately since we had a cold and a lot of nasal secretions, it does its job very well and quietly and the little one is not afraid of him, it can be used at night, which will be a real help when the little one is clogged and can't breathe well, the nozzles seemed too wide but they are just right and soft, easy to clean and use. This nasal aspirator was easy to use and it cleared her congested nose instantly whenever she struggled to breathe. . Ok, well I remember when my kids where babies and I had the tommy tippy essentials kit that came with the hair comb, hair brush, nail cutters and a few other bits including a manual Aspirator.

The braun one I found appealing, first cause of the brand, I have many Braun items in the house already which are good quality and secondly cause it’s automatic and not manual like the Tommy tippy one. The media could not be loaded. Quick delivery and does the job.

Cannot believe I have got to my 3rd child before purchasing one of these. Great! The instructions don't make it clear whether you can sterilise the tube in any sort of steriliser so I assume that you can't.
