Elfrida Phipps, once of London's stage, moved to the English village of Dibton in hopes of making a new life for herself. A perfect winter or Christmastime read with all the feels! Find somewhere very special very quiet very serene sit back and be prepared to be transformed into this book until its finish I started this coincidentally on the the winter solstice and so glad I did. I felt originally like It started a little slow but it ended up being quite a lovely story.
