. 40%abv, 70cl, Nicaragua A full-bodied rum with a long and smooth finish that lingers in the palate. Bottled at 40% ABV. Full of rich oak spice, some zesty orange peel, dark brown sugars, dark caramel toffee and nutmeg. Oaky, leathery, smokey steals the polish from the finish. I reckon it would've remained intact had it dropped six feet. Despite this, those richly layered spicy notes don’t dominate the crispness of the palate. So the legend goes, the Painkiller cocktail was invented in the 1970’s in the British Virgin Islands at a bar called Soggy Dollar Bar.

A Ron perhaps not really for everyone but which in my opinion should be tried. In addition, although not indicated, the rum received is a limited edition of the brand's centenary that includes a design box and a book of poems. I really liked the box and the bottle, for a good gift. I recommend it

A luxury, at 34€ is very worth it. Really good rum and it's worth what it costs, certainly a very different flavor from Rum, much more commercial, less sweet and more intense.
