So a lot of my time is spent writing code, working with text and editing videos. There are two main reasons why I plumped for this monitor: 1) the size (34") and 2) the curved screen. The text on this monitor is good but it’s not going to look as sharp as the Retina display MacBooks. If I'm on a long conference call I'll switch the sound from the headset to the monitor, and sit back.

Highly recommended. There is one other feature that I expected to use but haven't been able to - the monitor has a built in KVM so it can display images from two computers and share the keyboard mouse between the two. I had a 24" monitor that was fine, but didn't really support my workflow where I constantly have 2-3 documents open as I compare and copy between them. I had my eye on this monitor when it was £650 then, of course, it went up to £730.
