I saved myself £87 after the Virgin Media technician quoted me that moving the router upstairs would cost me £99. I’ve checked daily since the installing with the new cable and still get the same speeds as I did before. I am very sorry, I opened the package,and found everything was in the wrapper, so I don't need a refund.

At the time I was getting around 216mbps when doing speed tests. Want to relocate tv , virgin box and modem for WiFi’s. 4gI used this cable to move my virgin box upstairs, I also split the router for better Internet coverage. In addition to this I used a female to female f type connector that allows you to join the two cables together.

Only thing is that as the cable comes rolled it is a little bit more awkward to hold it straight to hammer in cable clips! You will need to obtain good F type connectors (I managed to track down some "Outdoor Compression F type connectors" from screwfix" I went for the outdoor type as they seemed to have a better clamp on the cable making it a solid connector with no risk of the connector popping off. Closer to the box is the 5g, further away gives a steady stream which is the 2. In total the extra length I had to run was around about 10-15 metres.
