Even before I was able to take it abroad with me I had it in my bag in the back of the car as I was driving with my family and I guess some pressure would occasionally set it off, so every hour or so we would get a chorus of fart sounds coming from the trunk that would set all of us off laughing. It does not come with the 9 volt battery that is needed. The kids think it is hilarious.

Santa brought this for my son in his stalking. I can't speak specifically for distance that it can reach, but the remote seems to work well and it all looks pretty sturdy. The remote and speaker aren't connected, so I could see myself someday losing the remote but so far so good.

Almost falling asleep one night it dawned on me that a remote controlled fart machine would be a wise investment when working with refugee kids. It works great and sounds real. I work in Iraqi refugee camps and go home once per year to buy everything that I need annually. Farts really are a universal language.
