About this deal
This RAM module runs at 1200MHz per second, but the effective rate is 2400 megatransfers per second (MT/s) because there are 1200 million rising edges per second and 1200 million falling edges per second of a clock signal running at 1200 MHz. When it comes to measuring DDR RAM speed, MT/s and MHz are used interchangeably, which is not actually correct. This 16GB (1x 16GB) DDR4 2400 MT/s RAM module from Crucial is for use in DDR4 compatible systems and operates at 2400 MT/s with an overall transfer rate of PC4-19200. This RAM module also operates at a standard voltage of 1. DDR stands for double data rate which means data is transfers on both the rising and falling edges of the clock signal.

5 GB/s sequential read and 7. SSD owners will benefit even more as the limited Write-cycles of their drives will be preserved.

The RAM came packed safely in a stiff plastic container. The difference is huge.

A conventional SATA-3 HDD does about 150 MB/s. I bought a used version with a little discount. Works fine and running at 20gb, and lenovo said 12gb max.
