My yeast pasta rises wonderfully. Mounting the humidity sensor externally, in ambient air, also improved its consistency. The wiring had to be modified a bit, but otherwise drag and drop.

The dehumidifier is now at least as reliable as it was when it was new. It seems that even above the point where frost forms, too low a temp actually reduces the dehumidification rate. Unfortunately, I misconnected the wires and I blew up a relay 😠 (cooling).

We are using the controller to activate a three phase contactor, that provides power to a heating element. Serious and professional seller. Setting the STC-1000's defrost temperature proved to be less straightforward than I'd expected.
