it did not catch fire but it just went BANG and then it was dead. They could not advise me how to get it fixed. 2 year warranty always very acceptable(Easy to Register on line as with all Morphy Richards products). The black and red complement each other and no matter what colour your kitchen/utility room this iron makes a positive statement. One of my many phobias is limescale. they are expensive items and you expect them to at least last the 2 years!

So no steam comes out and the iron does not get hot but the bottom does! And what a box; strongly packed, informative and with a bold eye catching design. I have bought another Tefal! Lock feature and ease to carry it makes it easier to move around.

Makes short work of even the toughest ironing, effortless brilliant results using the incredibly efficient shot of steam. Now again after 18 months the generator part of the replacement iron works but not the thermostat of the iron. Makes the ironing easier. I have had Steam Generator irons for years.
