One story might seem pretty straight forward but when suddenly you play the Browncoat way, or "The Rim is the Thing", it can really spice things up. Having a review on a Firefly board game may not be the most useful thing you'll read today, if you're here, you probably already love Firefly and plan on buying it.

I think it's about time that I wrote one, so here goes:This game is amazing. Fun for fans, but also a fun game on its own merits.
Truth
Just finished my first solo game. After playing for a while you'll catch the little things and you can adapt then. The board consists of the core (Alliance) space and the border space (technically also Alliance since the unification war was decided in The Alliance's favor). Also the expansions, although not complete must haves, are very highly recommended IMO.

I ordered this on 23rd April and had a delivery date of 27th April to 1 May. But if you love firefly. I've played 2 games so far where the first one took us a good hour to get going and stretched into a good 6-8 hr game over two days.

My only complaint is a minor one: there are So. Because there are so many each player has to have a significant amount of space in front of them to lay everything out. I would recommend not worrying about getting them right the first time. This game does a great job of 'recreating' life as captain of a small-time cargo ship.

You must keep your ship fueled, repaired, and manned with good crew. The playing area required is huge. You may mosey and move one spot for free and without any drama or you can try to full burn and move as far as your ship will allow on using up a fuel token but be aware, you will have to draw from the Nav Deck every sector (space) you move.
