A very well researched book. My only complaint is the box it shipped it was too big, with no support to stop the book from sliding around. I got this as a Christmas gift for my mother, since shes been a big fan of Tolkien's work since before I was even born.

Flipping through this book, I think she'll love it. I bought it for my sister who loves all the works by Tolkien (LOTR and the movie especially)

Hope this review was 'Helpful' to you. This led to some corners getting scratched or crumpled, but it has not impacted any pages or illustrations. Contains many interesting and previously unknown and obscure details about Tolkien and his works and about his lesser known side as an illustrator. Must have for all Tolkien fans.

Loved this book. Thanks for reading. The binding is done in cloth and is quite sturdy.
