It's harder to use this with a front wheel because it's not in balance on its own like the one with two wheels in front, xo does the curves better and the child gets used to being in balance! The scooter is wonderful Easy to assemble My 5 year old boy liked it a lot. My baby has gotten used to it after the first two days and is going fast and pulling his foot up! !

Go sturdy enough for a 7-and-a-half-year-old. It is of decent quality with its metal structure.
