Quality Mortar

I’ll be covering this with a pillow case to avoid any bits of plaster getting into the clay, but the surface came out nice and smooth. Love this mixed with gypsum! Very easy to mix and it didn’t make too many lumps.

it was dry within 30 minutes. Will buy more! I use them to make plaster slabs to reclaim my bmix clay for pottery. Put the plaster block back in the lid.

Mixed the plaster as instructed with a paint paddle in a 5 gallon bucket, poured into tote lid, smoothed with spatula from dollar store. I wanted to try making some trinket trays. ! Just wish I could get a huge bag at a great value!

I also added some acrylic paint to make the color chips that are in there. I would recommend if you are looking to make a simple slab without a giant bag or plaster.

Set up time was quick. After it was cured, turned out upside down and cleaned off all loose plaster chips from the tote lid. Easy to mix, I recommend a flexible plaster bowl though. And it sanded easily too.

I let them set for a few days to thoroughly dry. It was really easy to use and set up well. Very happy with my purchase.

The lid provides built in handles! Worked well. The media could not be loaded. Once released from the molds.
