The audio and subtitle buttons work as they should for when I forget to run the setup first. Awesome value for the amount of content you’re getting here! As a collector, having a nice exterior case like this to keep all the seasons together on display is really what makes it special, much more so than simply just shelving each season individually.

but it is too much of a hassle to return and wait for a replacement as it was directly sent from Amazon US to Amazon UK. No need to select next episode, it just plays all the way through with no start up or ending cutscenes. No lines or details were missing in my version, like some reviewers had. The English dub is perfect quality.

It's all over the subtitles though. The picture I posted is a side-by-side comparison of the picture from the DVD (on the laptop) and Blu-ray (on the TV) editions.

For people concerned about bad language, it's rarely in the English dub. Just a heads up! I read the reviews and found out this has the Faulconer scores which is what I grew up watching (Just have to change the audio). Can't recommend this enough if you are a fan

It was much funnier, had snappier pacing, better voices, and way better music. It is a gorgeous collectible set, and I am happy that this beloved show from my childhood still garners enough interest from fans worldwide even to this day to receive a new release. This Box set is perfect for Dragon Ball Z Fans who grew up watching the Original Funimation Dub that was aired back in the early 2000s with the Bruce Faulconer Soundtrack (of course the Japanese Subs are also blessed.

It is worth noting, however, that this is where the updates for this new release end. I can see all the individual character in the hand-drawn lines.

Unfortunately crunchyroll doesn't have the Bruce Faulconer scores. The clarity is amazing.
