In my opinion, 18m+ (closer to 2 even) will get more use out of this toy and be able to use it as intended for educational purposes. This toy is so cute! It has many nice features and sounds where she can practice motor skills and learn to recognize words and sounds related to photography, animals and numbers. My only complaint is that the camera includes 5 "pictures" of cute animals which can be easily lost for a toddler and they have no way of being attached to the camera without loosing functionality. I recommend this toy for 18M+. They give you 5 animal pics, but nowhere to store them when not in use. Awesome for learning numbers and shapes

As always, Leapfrog doesn't disappoint! He’s 2 (26 months) and so far does really well with it. My little man loves his camera!

Overall, I really love it and so does my son! ! My son had trouble at first until he got the hang of it (he has pretty advanced fine motor skills). I really wish the pictures could be stored within the camera somewhere!
