I dont hear my son cry either but my husband keeps an ear out for him ! I have tried those foam buds that grow into dinosaurs when wet and they are useless,If youre like me and have a LITERAL Prostitute for a neighbour with an equally moany DOG then you would consider murder for some piece of mind. )meaning most of it sits on the outer edge of my canal and i use my finger to flatten the end out to block over the ear hole completely. but they do go cold and hard when they are not being used just warm again you will defo get a few nights out of them, if you overuse them they are likely to start drying out and having cracks up them which will let more sound funnel up them.

OK guys first thingsFIRST; You NEED to remove all the cotton wool, cotton wool is in place to keep them separated from each other so they dont morph into one gelatinous blob through transport or heating conditions! NOTHING will block sound completely because you have a part of your ear that feels vibrations and no matter what you do your ear will always get vibrations even if the hole is blocked.

It says single use but i have used each pair at least 3 or 4 nights and they maintain their squidgeyness ! use your common sense, completely remove the cotton wool. Sound prevention works by COMPLETELY blocking any gaps so warming up to squidge is nessessary i find instead of doing a long cone to fit down my canal a little cone shape is more effective,( like a plug in a sink you dont block down the drain just the opening. They insulate noise very well, without being unpleasant to wear, they are reusable and stay well in place.
Practical to transport with their small plastic box and supplied with instructions. Now these do not work 100pc to block sound as nothing will FACT. Very comfy and block out a lot of sound.
WARM AND SQUISH to moldThey are extremely comfortable and DONT slip out once you actually warm them up to a squishy texture first ya dont just shove little ball rocks into your ears. If, like me, you have had numerous ear infections and can't stand foam earplugs that press, hurt your ears and disappear during sleep, these wax plugs are for you. SECONDLY ; you need to warm these up in your hands before putting in your ear!
The good thing about these is i find they cancel 93pc of the sound i cant hear her moaning or her dog howling almost at all because you can more hear your own breathing and I have even heard my heartbeat and the blood swish through my veins NO joke I seem to be gifted and cursed with exceptional hearing! I recommend and I can finally sleep without suffering my neighbours! :( but anywho this saved my neighbour from her demise and her dog from poisoning :)I would recommend these. You need to unwrap them from the cotton and then mould and then put them in your ear for best results
If youre using these with an alarm put the alarm on vibrate and sound and close to you!
