the price is expensive but worth it, if you are thinking to purchase this! The process now takes me about seven minutes to complete, but I find it enjoyable based on the end product.

Of the thousands of shots pulled the only bad shots I've made were dialling coffee in or user error. You can't just use ground coffee off the shelf.

However, patience is necessary. Tip: Look on YouTube for help videos, this was a big help resource for me. In fact I'm looking at buying a second one for my workshop, which is why I'm here. Ultimately, of you're here for something like a nespresso or one of its relatives, this is unlikely to be the machine for you.

Will probably do some more experiments further, but I am already happy enough with what this one can make! Expect to spend time learning how the unit works and adjusting the grind.

If you are on the fence of buying just do it, you will not regret it. Good things take some effort and the Flare 2 is no exception. It should be almost powdery.
5k marzocco)My current one is version 1 which had a few minor flaws (the handle dug into your hand a bit at 9 bar on properly ground coffee) but they seem to have been sorted. You will need to tune your grind. If you're prepared to put in a little effort and learn a new skill, you'll be rewarded with great coffee.
