Fix the separate side panels first, then the top cover with ratchet straps ties the whole thing together. Takes two to assemble but easily done , sturdy and robust Bear in mind that you cannot lean things against the sides as it’s not a solid frame so things like step ladders etc need laying flat.

You have yo read the instructions correctly Astley are Piece are small This is really a sturdy little tent but if you need to put up a temporary structure to house gear you need to keep under cover it’s ideal. We are using our portable garage as wet weather visiting area at our care home to welcome back visitors! Good product cheap ideal for small space Easy instructions to follow to put it up material seem strong the only thing I had to use zip ties to secure front and back Panals as the Velcro is ok but not great .

! As a postscript to this review after the first serious gale of the winter it failed miserably. However, my husband and I put it up in a couple of hours. They looked very similar, so at £20 cheaper, I chose this one.

Top tip - gaffer tape the short apex tubes to the down tubes to stop them separating when you lift the frame to fit the purlins. Delayed replacement of damaged main pole leading me to raise return & refund process, but the pole arrived after 10 days later and the whole tent was up now serving its purpose in my garden as storage. An excellent purchase all round and I'm confident it is sturdy enough to handle any gale force winds which might occur.

Like most people, I did a lot of research into sturdy, waterproof temporary shelters before deciding which one to buy. Instructions were clear, and if you take time to plan which bit goes where, it is easy to put up - took two of us 1. All in all it’s easy to assemble and I guess it will do the job for rain cover. This was assembled by two pensioners namely my wife and myself.
