As in experiential play, as least the way its originator taught it, he lets, in fact, invites the children to guide him, rather than he guiding them, at least until true trust is built. HIs explanations are not just clear, they are movingly insightful.

. I read it too quickly, I loved it, the narrative is to grab you from the first chapter and it's incredibly academic. And since it’s basic trust thatis breached by perpetrators, the trust-building is the whole deal.

great read for those working in social work or healthcare. A very moving book indeed. In the photograph it looks worn out but it was for my own use hahahaha, it arrived in excellent condition.

What a sad, real, eye opening book. Here’s someone remarkable - not just a very fine writer, not just a magnificent clinician, but oh, so great a human being. Yet what struck me the most is that I would want Bruce Perry as my mentor, my friend.
