It mentions in the instructions to lower your coolant level so you don’t suck coolant into the tester. however i do need a new turbo now. Simple to use and the instructions were very explicit. Simple as 1 ,2 ,3 literally.

If your ride is overheating and you suspect a blown HG this test should be your first step! Simple and easy to use! Well let me tell you at first i was kinda thrown off since the color from my test barely changed to a dark greenish blue. The media could not be loaded.

I thought this block tester worked excellent. Great Product couldn’t find it in Ireland at this price and not in stock, as I needed it quick,Followed instructions and lots of Videos on line really easy,And tested on actual exhaust fumes to make sure and it directly turned yellow first picture is testing after about 3 minutes and never changed color. Start your car get it warmed up, open coolant reservoir, and start pumping.

4L 2 valve v8 overheated recently on 500 mile trip in 100F temps going up 7k foot elevation. Highly Effective! When i got home i suspected a blown head gasket but it was loosing very little coolant and no smoke from the tail pipe and still running great.

First time using this type of product. My 2007 Ford Econoline (E250) with the 5. I highly recommend this USA made affordable tester. A+ for this chemical test!
