If you like gruesome with a capital 'G', this is one heck of a read! Great author I should just mention that although this is definitely a book well worth seeking out, be prepared for some very graphic descriptions of mutilation and murder.

It didn't spoil my enjoyment at all. ), the plentiful twists and turns along the way were fantastic. Each chapter was captivating, some stories have slow chapters but this one did not. When the mutilated body of a young woman is discovered in an abandoned house in Los Angeles, Hunter leads the investigation to find her killer.

So glad I decided to start reading the first book because I’m so hooked on it, it’s rare I get hooked on a series, absolutely love it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Shockwaves of horror hit Hunter at full force; he's seen that symbol before. Hunter's worst nightmare is about to begin.

The Crucifix KillerBy Chris CarterThis book had me hooked from the beginning. It won't be everyone's ideal bedtime read. I am a big fan of Criminal Minds the TV series and therefore I loved the psychology inserted into the detectives career. Was hard to put down, awesome twist at the end.

. Psychology expert Robert Hunter and rookie partner Carlos Garcia are an excellent pairing. The characters and story line are so addictive, I just needed to know what would happen next. On the back of her neck a symbol resembling a double-crucifix has been carved.
Having read and reviewed book #8, The Caller, I decided to go to the beginning and read these books in publication order. I read a lot of crime fiction, particularly British, so I'd like to think I'm reasonably good at spotting little nuances here and there. Despite initial misgivings, they bounce off one another and develop a strong bond. 100% will be getting all of his books.
