I love Cormoran Strike. When the creators of The Ink Black Heart, a cult on-line cartoon, are attacked in Highgrove cemetery leaving Edie dead and Josh paralysed, Strike and Robin are hired to unmask the true identity of anomie - a menacing cyber character and co-creator of the IBH spinoff, Drek’s game, who patrols the web like a winged Nazgul singling out Edie for persistent persecution in an attempt to turn the fandom against her.

I've only just started reading this book. Amazon really should have thought this through better because this tiny, unadjustable font means that a good read is interrupted.

Totally worth the wait … but be prepared for heart ache at the end … As this was a birthday gift I had no time to replace. All in all a great read and, as usual, I’m already impatient for the next one.

Fabulous plot which made me gasp, laugh & cry. I came to the Amazon site today hoping to change my Kindle version for a hard copy, but this option isn’t available. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and reddit; trolling, ghosting and catfishing; ableism, the dark web and online gaming; the alt right, grooming and misogyny – The Ink Black Heart is not for the faint-hearted! I love the main characters and can’t wait for the next book.

It totally exposes the toxic online communities while taking the characters of Strike and Robin further. Book arrived damaged see photo I am ok with it but I would not feel comfortable passing it on !

I thought the book was up to the standard of the past strike books (which is to say, high). As ever with Strike books, it's well written and intriguing. Plus, it's incredibly heavy!

I understand why people may have had an issue with the format of the in-game chats - I think perhaps whoever’s in charge of the kindle edition needs to re-design it. As always great prices and brilliant delivery This is a huge novel. The spine of the book and dust jacket was creased.
