However, I couldn't really bring myself to spend £90 on an air cooler. The motherboard bracket slots in easily, and the front assembly consists of four spacers, two bars and the cooler itself, attached by two sprung bolts, with the fans spring affixed and height adjustable. My only complaint is RAM clearance with RGB. I then found this beauty on a review website, giving it glowing reviews for its price.

Even when the fans kick in, they are quite gentle to the ear. I was skepticle at first but for £35, it was worth a shot. Wow.

Below 30°C when idle. This cooler was a lot larger than I expected. Overall, insanely good cooler, if you can fit this beast in your case that is. Replaced the fan with a noctua because theyre just plain better but the original ones were also pretty good.

I7 - 8700K overclocked @ 5GHz stays at lower 80s°C during heavily stressed benchmark. Fits in my relatively tiny Corsair iCUE 220T RGB case. As an intermediary this is currently keeping my Ryzen 9 5950x at around 69/70C with an ambient room temperature of 23C (all cores and threads running at stock) which I'm quite impressed with and to be honest was hoping for untill I can get an AIO, feel I will have to upgrade to an AIO water cooler to get the most from my CPU.
